Williams Memorial's Women's Circles
Williams Memorial has two active Women's circles. We have a long history of women studying together, praying together, and serving together. Our circles serve in many capacities and in various ways in our church. Circle ministries touch our church family, reach out into the community, even into the world. Call our church office, 704 392 8816, for more information.
Most recently, in July 2008, our Circles hosted a wonderful luncheon for missionaries from Korea, Rev. Art and Sue Kinsler. Art and Sue, after enjoying a delicious meal, gave a presentation on their work with Lighthouse Ministries in serving the orphans and the disabled of North Korea. Check out our Outreach page to get more information on Art and Sue's mission work.
One of the highlights of the Circle year is our Annual Mother,Daughter Banquet held in the Spring. The theme of this year's banquet was "Memories." Photo memories of those attending adorned the Fellowship Hall and a video presentation of photo memories and music highlighted the fellowship. This event is popular with folks in our community. Mothers and daughters from several other churches joined us for delicious salads, homemade desserts, a program and fellowship.
